A new pic

I thought you'd all like to see how fat I'm getting. I think I'm finally almost past that "is she pregnant, or just eating too much?" point. Here is a picture of me from this week. Tyler & I started taking pics of my belly every day, beginning in October. It's kinda fun to have a slide-show of my body getting morphed and stretched and misshapen by the miracle of new life growing inside of me. And no,
I won't be the mom who whips out these pictures in 15 years to show the kid what he's done to me & remind him of how much he owes me. Maybe. Might be fun.

The Paradox of Time

Anyone who's been pregnant before knows how ssssllloooooooowwwwlllyyyyy the time goes by. So tell me then, how are there only 20 days left before Christmas? Am I ready? Absolutely NOT! I haven't even figured what I'm getting anyone, so I haven't even begun to shop yet! I also have to get packing so that we can be out of our apartment by the 29th. How can time go by so slow, but sneak past so fast that I can't keep up with it? And while we're talking about paradoxes, can anyone tell me how a child the size of a loaf of bread can fit into something the size of a soccer ball? Last time I checked, it's not really possible, but that's what I found out today. Baby= 2 Lb. loaf of bread... Me= soccer ball. Think on that for a while.

As promised...

As promised, I am starting a blog to keep in touch with everybody. I've been putting it off until we had something worth "bloggin" about and if today isn't that day, then I don't know when is. Tyler & I went to the doctor this morning and we came home with some pictures to share with you. (If you hadn't already heard, we are having a baby in March) We found out this morning that it's a HE! I won't show you the more graphic pictures, but it's pretty definite. A mama's boy! A Future Missionary! A little man! We couldn't be happier... unless we could somehow skip the next 20 weeks and hold him now!
